Celebrating Local Heroes at Peepul Centre

We were proud to welcome the BBC Radio Leicester Make a Difference Awards to Peepul Centre — a wonderful celebration of the inspiring people who go above and beyond for their communities.

It was an unforgettable occasion filled with powerful stories, well-deserved recognition, entertainment and celebration. We’re delighted that Peepul Centre could provide the setting for an event that shines a spotlight on the incredible individuals making a real difference every day.

BollyARKK Resident Dance Academy, ‘Dances from the States of India’ performed at the BBC Make A Difference Awards, Sept 2026.

Congratulations to all the nominees, winners and everyone involved in making the event so special. 💜
